DeDae dances for the Earth. “The Earth is a YOU.” Everything that receives attention will grow, and therefore DeDae puts the Earth at the center. DeDae dances the connection to the Earth: the seasons, the weather, the soil, the earthworm, the life and growth forces, and also shows the disruption and exploitation of the economic model. This is our message: Our beloved Earth needs attention, it needs human and creative responsibility.
DeDae stands for Dutch Eurythmy Dance Ensemble. We are a group of young, talented eurythmy dancers led by Gia van den Akker. We are guided by the rhythm of today and tomorrow, we work with current themes, create productions, and develop workshops for different audiences.
In the upcoming period, we will visit farms with our performance and workshop “Earth Dance,” dance with the visitors and the farmers, and through the dance, make our respect and love for the Earth felt.

In this workshop, our connection to the Earth is at the center. The Earth carries us, the Earth breathes, is full of life in the soil, and nourishes us. We listen with our feet, we breathe the rhythms of the Earth, we move the sounds of our language. Each individually and together. Come through the Earth to connect more with yourself and with others.
